Being one of the oldest- and one of the most unique- towns along the coast of the low country, Little River is located in the northern section of The Grand Strand, just below the North Carolina border. It was once a retreat for shipwrecked pirates, with stories of buried treasure! This area is rich in history and has preserved its natural beauty as developments began to grow. In the 1850’s it was a very prosperous port for fisherman, and to this day fisherman still depart every day, bringing back all the fresh catches for the locals, wholesalers and restaurants.

The town of Little River is one of the last communities along the Grand Strand where a slower pace of life still exits. There is always something fun to do in this great little town, from the annual Blue Crab Festival, deep sea fishing charters and even two Las Vegas Style Casino gambling boats. There are many local shops in and around Little River. With this town being a mecca for fresh seafood, you cannot go wrong with any of the restaurants.

Little River real estate offers something for every lifestyle. With Little River being a quaint town just a short distance to the beach, you couldn’t ask for a better location to live.
